Michelle has held leadership positions in government, business, technology, education, and military non-profit organizations. She was elected to her local school board and served with the Missouri School Boards Association as an advocate for rural public education to the Missouri legislature.

Following this, she was elected and served as the Benton County Presiding Commissioner again supporting rural initiatives such as funding, transportation, law enforcement, jobs and economy, and community engagement.

Michelle’s leadership contributions in developing leaders and programs as a volunteer to the United States Army’s family readiness organizations in support of soldiers and their families earned her the recognition of the Secretary of the Army Public Service Award.

Her expertise is grounded in academic study of DISC Behavior Profiles, strategic leadership, team building, group dynamics, listening and communication, conflict resolution, and church and ministry leadership. 

She is versed in cultural diversity where she specialized in studying the gap between urban and rural issues and collaboration. Understanding and maximizing individual strengths and complementing  personalities to accomplish results are the core of her coaching and consulting.
